Adult Introduction to Jewelry Making 

$75 fee - $25 non refundable deposit due with online registration/$50 balance due at beginning of class.

We are excited to offer this fun filled workshop for adults.  We will first create a pendant utilizing a variety of jewelry techniques such as enameling, stamping, riveting and texturing. We will also learn a few different ways to make hand made clasps from copper wire.  Students will have access to a large selection of semi-precious stone beads and freshwater pearls and will learn the basics of beading. We will assemble all of the parts together and you will leave with a beautiful hand made necklace.  

Please bring what you need for food or drink.  We will have extra bottled water if needed.  Refrigeration is available if needed.  You are welcome to bring wine or beer. 

We have a limited number of spots.  You much register online by completing a registration information form and paying a $25 non refundable deposit in order to reserve a spot.  The $50 balance will be collected during check-in. Please arrive at least 10 min. before class to check in and pay the balance.  

If  you must cancel due to unforsee events or illness, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can fill your spot.  If we can find a replacement for your spot, we can refund your deposit.  If we cannot, your deposit will be forfeited.  Please do not come if you are showing symptoms of illness or have been exposed to someone who has been ill. 

If we do not meet our minimum attendance required to hold the class, we will notify you prior to the date to offer refund or reschedule. 

Instructors: 

Nancy Perilloux has a degree in art with a focus on painting and is also a full time jeweler and owner of Nancy Fe Designs for over 18 years.  She is also co-owner of Chappapeela Crafts and mother of 3.  She homeschools her 11 year old daughter and 7 year old son and strives to build a community in Robert for children and families to forge connections. 

Assistant:

Lydia Perilloux is a junior at Hammond High and a participant in the Tangipahoa Parish Talented Art Program.  She is the daughter of John and Nancy Perilloux with a bright future in the arts with a natural gift.   

We have multiple days this workshop will be offered if one date/day of the week is not a good fit for you.  We will also have similar workshops for children.  Please contact us to discuss other events such as a private class with your own group.  We can customize the experience to suit your needs such as birthday parties, Mom's groups, Homeschool groups, etc.
